Dahn Moo Do

Dahn Moo Do is a Korean martial art with a strong emphasis on "ki", or "life energy" (known in Chinese as "chi").Dahn Moo Do is a spiritual, mental, and physical exercised martial art, first practiced by the ancient enlightened people of Korea. Comparing with other martial arts, Dahn Moo Do is not a training which simply aims to build physical muscle power, but a self disciplined and a self-defensive exercise of mind and body based on the principle of "Ki". Ki is the Korean version of naming life energy, often called "Chi" in China or "Prana" in India. Dahn Moo Do teaches you how to save, circulate, and utilize this "Ki".

Dahn Moo Do encompasses a well rounded curriculum, which includes a comprehensive self defense program, advanced methods of kick and strike training, and weapons training. The origin of Dahn Moo Do is referred back to almost 10 thousand years ago.

Master Hak-Sup Lee, founded The World Dahn Moo Do Association. He has studied and mastered the ancient martial arts of "Sado Mu Sool" family or tribal martial arts, "Bulkyo Mu Sool" Buddhist martial arts and "Koong Joong Mu Sool" Royal Court Martial Arts. With his vast knowledge of the ancient martial arts, he systematically organized the World Dahn Moo Do Association's curiculum.
